Serving humanity; little act of charity by @shance-light-club75
Hello amazing people, happy Easter everyone.
The dead of Christ is important but His resurrection is more important. This gives us the assurance that our God is alive and the thomb is empty.
Ok im not writing about this great power of resurrection today but i wish to continue about some few activities that kept my week busy leaving me with no time for myself.
the main reason for my absence
Little act of charity. Most at times we classify charity as offering monetary terms or gifts to someone but on daily basis, we can offer our time, services, love, care as an act of kindness.
For the past weeks, its been a research week for me not actually my research but that of my friend/ sister.
She's writing HND and validating a research is part of the main objective.
Their defense was on the 12/4/22, so our main aim was to round up before that time.
We did a lot of research to complete chapter 1 to 3 but guess what....
After presenting chapter 1 to 3, her topic was changed by her panelists. It wasn't something to joke with as we had to start all over again with little or no time.
Her study was a communith based thus questionnaires were ready. It wasn't easy to convince her panelists that her topic was good. Some words were changed or recoiled to give a better meaning but the theme of the topic stayed or remained thesame.
After crossing that bridge, we went ahead and administered questionnaires to adolescent in mile 14 that met the criteria. After this we analyzed the data.
After writing chapter 4 and 5, she submitted it for corrections and that was done.
I also helped her to design her power point and in my own little way, i did my best.

She went had a successful defense though i wasn't present because of the cholera vaccination campaign. But i was very happy when she told me she had an A grade.
To crown it all that day was her birthday, so we decided to give her a little surprise and to say congratulations.

It was a day of joy. I was very happy that my time spent in helping out in the research yielded a good result.

I always knew you're such a compassionate being with a heart of gold. You have indeed done a good job and I think in the future you should let students come to you for your guidance and advise on research work in order for you put in or proofread their thesis. I have you didn't actually do all the work by yourself but guided her so she could learn. Most often some students doesn't want to learn but will be very lazy when someone is assisting them. Remember you can help her today because you put your efforts and time to study Research Methods during your own semesters.
Congratulations to you both because you're the brain and motivation towards that excellent results.
Yeah it was a 2 way something, for example, all the wording on the power point were chosen by her then i designed the PowerPoint itself.
