Hello to you steemians and steem greetings. I am glad am privileged to participate in this wonderful contest as mentored by @thegreens. This is my first contest under @thegreens.
I have ever planted a tree and specifically palm tree her in Northwest Region specifically at Mbingo Annex Nkwen Bamenda. I was opportune to plant this tree because i was working in a construction industry called Dreamland as we all know. So in the land where presently it’s the Education Secretary’s office is standing I took part in building it and when it came to arrange the garden, I planted palm tree to decorate the place and bring out beauty

What I know about palm tree is that it’s leaves are trimmed and used as broom that we commonly use in sweeping the compound. Also, palm tree produces local wine commonly called white mimbo as everyone knows but in English it’s palm wine. We get palm kernel from palm tree and it’s used in making red oil used in preparing food. Apart from that palm oil is used in slowing poison Incase your poisoned or someone around you just give the person a dish filled with palm oil it will prevent it from eating up the intestines.
