Hello everyone in this great community of great minds, I trust we're all doing well in good health and mind. I'm @samuelebuka and I'm so happy to be this community and also partake in this great contest to be able to share my thoughts in this topic I hope you find this post educative and interesting.

Question 1 - How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

Gender equality is not only a need but a form of human right, and a necessary foundation for a peaceful and ever growing society.

One way I can promote gender equality in my community is by holding a conference or a talk show in my locality and explain to the people what gender equality means and the advantages of it as it will allow or support the growth of the community and also bring about the diversity in views and opinions for the betterment of the locality.
Commitment and bold action are needed to accelerate progress, including through the promotion of laws, policies, and institutions that promotes gender equality.

question 2 -Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes it would. Celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality. By celebrating this special day, people bring to light the importance of the role woman play in the society and as a result of this celebration it reduces or eradicate ignorance as regarding this topic and the roles of women in the society at large.

Question 3 -Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

Snapchat-1844026524.jpg

Yes I do think they are the same as the fight for feminism leads to the the fight for women rights.
I have lived in a society where the girl child are seen as just a liability and are often pushed for marriage and are not properly catered for by the parents because they feel she has nothing to offer. This also happens in the world of sports in my locality until resent times where the hosting of the FIFA'S women world cup brought to light that women can also be engaged in such activity and bring diversity and spice to the game. I believe every girl child and women should be given equally rights and equal chance to follow their dreams and be treated with equal rights.

Question 4 -What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community)

I say this is a good thing not just good but also a great thing towards achieving this goal. Women bring a kind of spice and also a kind of view when holding special positions like this. Recent research in my locality shows that companies that women are the CEO, tends to flow and flourish more.

A good example of this in my country Nigeria is the deputy governor of Kaduna state in northern Nigeria where the governor is a man and his deputy governor a woman. Due to this, Kaduna state is said to be one of the fast growing developing states in recent years in Nigeria.

Question 5 -What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

What makes a good leader is merit, because I've seen and witness many cases where both men and women fail in their respective roles as leaders. Although they're people who are born leaders but I still believe leadership should be based on merit not about the musculen nature of the individual or so.

Conclusion

Women are not only needed for procreation, they are also the backbone of recovery in communities. Putting women and girls at the centre of economies will fundamentally drive better and more sustainable and well develop community and country at large. Thank you so much for reading through will also like to invite my friends @v-brainer @solexybaba @skilocy to this contest.

I completely agree with the idea of holding a conference or talk show in one's community to promote gender equality. It's crucial that people understand what gender equality means and why it's essential. This kind of event can help raise awareness and educate the community on the importance of treating everyone equally, regardless of their gender.

Furthermore, such events can be an excellent platform for discussing gender-related issues and challenges faced by different genders, which can lead to more constructive discussions and solutions.

Yes I agree with you dear friend. The need for this education can not be over emphasized because of how important it is for community development. Thank you so much for your warm remarks
