Creative writing. The causes of bleeding during child birth and the role played by the woman 01/12/2021

Most women turn to bleed after child birth. During birth, what is important is the consequences of the blood loss and not the amount of blood loss. It is usually advisable for a woman to have a certain level of blood before getting into labour 12g/dl and above. This is so because you don't know the outcome of birth; if it's normal delivery (per vaginal or through c/s)
However, the causes of bleeding include;

• tears
  -muscle tone
  -tissue

Tears: this is one of the highest cause of bleeding during child birth. Women turn to either inquire tear or the midwife open the road( episiotomy). The tears needs to steached for the woman to stop bleeding. Most women turn to be the cause of tear as most of them turn to pushed before time. According to them, they push the baby in order to be free but don't know the consequences of their act. Other causes include fat babies, malpresention(face to pubis) and the use of assisted delivery (vacuum extraction). However, during expulsion of the child, the woman needs alot of psychlogical and moral support.
The midwife however can give an Episiotomy to prevent the consequences of the vagina from tearing to a stage beyond repair. ( fistulas) : Episiotomy is a procedure where the healthcare provider cuts an opening at the edge of the vagina.

Muscle tone: normally immediately after birth, the woumb is supposed to get back to it's preconceived State. In some cases, the woumb remains bulging and does not return or contract. In this case, the midwife has to massage the uterus untill it contracts. However, most women turn to refuse because it's very painful when massaging.

Tissue
After delivery the woman needs to be cleaned in case there are remaining tissues. These tissues can be placental remains. The midwife sends her hands to clean the the wumb and remove any remains. According to most women, once the baby is out of the womb, they should be allowed to rest and because the act is very painful. Whereas if they are not properly cleaned they will bless untill the remains are removed. So women are encouraged to allow the healthcare provider to properly clean her to avoid bleeding.
The process of childbearing is very stressful and needs alot of psychlogical support. This support has to come from the care provider ( during antenatal clinic) and partner.
