Greetings dear steemians. It is a pleasure to write here. I want to thank @thegreens for this contest. He is my inspiration and I hope to follow his advice and build a high SP, thus investing for my future.
How I powered up 50 steem
My SP before powering up was 150.544 SP. Here is a picture of my wallet before powering up.
I clicked on the drop down menu beside my steem dollar amount and selected the "Market" option.
Next, I inputted the amount of steem I wished to buy.
After that, I confirmed my transaction. I now had 53.844 steem. I clicked on the drop down menu beside the amount of steem and selected the "Power up" option.
A pop up menu came and I confirmed the power up of 50 steem.
This brought my total SP to 200.544 SP. Here is my account after powering up.
NB: The after power up screenshot was taken some time later due to technical difficulties and all discrepancies in values can be accounted for by rewards during the period in between.
And that is how I powered up 50 steem.

Imagine you power up 50steem every week, oh my!!!! That'll be a huge 1k in 20weeks that's 5months and 2k in 10 months and 2.2k in a year. The consistency is the key indeed
