How can we help our community forge a gender-equal world?

Every individual can play an important role in making difference in the thinking of society. The first step that we can take in this regard is to educate ourselves and the people around us on the topic. This end could be achieved by reading standard publications, attending seminars and workshops and participating in debates on the topic. It will also be good if we are the initiators of breaking stereotypes about roles and responsibilities of men and women in the society. We should not be judgmental about how a men or women should behave.

Extending our full support to women in key roles is another way of making our society a gender equal world. It is very important to help and support women who are up for leadership roles as usually what happens is that women are underrepresented in major roles. Last but not the least men and women should be paid equal for their similar jobs. Pay should not be according to gender rather it should be according to the work performance.

Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes, celebrating Women's day can add to the visibility and equality. International women day brings an opportunity of recognizing and acknowledging achievements of women in all fields of life. There are great contributions of women economic, cultural, scientific and literary fields. Celebrating women's day not only help recognizing efforts of women but also help us identify issues faced by women in their professional setups. So it helps people in identifying those issues and then addressing those issues so that women can work in relatively better environment.

Besides, celebrating International Women's Day motivates and encourages women to reach their goals.

Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

The conflicts surrounding feminism and women's rights are similar but distinct. Feminism aims to change the social, cultural, and political setups that promote gender-based discrimination and inequality. The feminist movement is huge. It is a movement that seeks to address both gender-specific issues and issues that affect people of all genders, such as issues relating to the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals as well as issues of racism, class, and disability.

On the other hand, the struggle for women's rights focuses specifically on achieving equal opportunities and rights for women, including issues like protection from gender-based violence, equal pay, and the right to an abortion.

What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community

The presence of women in high-ranking positions such as presidents, parliamentarians, senators, CEOs, and COOs is a representation of success and progress towards gender equality. It indicates that how women are breaking down barriers and gaining recognition for their talents, skills, and abilities. Inclusion of women in leadership positions can lead to the incorporation of different points of view and improved decision-making. which will ultimately benefit society as a whole.

Benazir Bhutto was the first female prime minister of Pakistan and the first female prime minister in the Muslim world. She worked to enhance women's rights during her two tenure as Pakistan's prime minister (1988 to 1990 and 1993 to 1996). She played vital role in bettering the economy and international relations. She proved that women can be as effective as any other gender in key roles

What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

A good leader is always a person who fulfills criteria of a leader and can lead his or her people in the best way. In this criteria gender does not come. leadership is always based on merit and those merit includes qualities like morality, wisdom, understanding, empathy, and the ability to make sensible decisions. A competent leader must be able to motivate and uplift others, serve as a role model for others, and accept accountability for the decisions they make. By focusing on merit rather than gender, organizations and communities may maximize their talent pool and promote equitable opportunities for everyone to become outstanding leaders.

I invite @sarahisham, @taskenn and @abyousafzai to this contest.

Greetings to you @roomi! What a great piece of writing! I was really inspired to read how you described the significance of learning and dispelling gender-based stereotypes. Celebrating International Women's Day gives us an occasion to appreciate the accomplishments of females in different areas. You showcased the success of amazing women like Benazir Bhutto and showed the world that women can lead just as well as anyone else, based on their qualification and not their gender. Keep up the incredible work and keep on inspiring us with your wonderful writing! 🤗💖👏

Thank you so much for reading my blog and commenting on it, indeed International Women's Day give us opportunity to acknowledge contribution of women. We can make the world much better place by supporting good work irrespective of gender. Thanks again dear for your kind words.

Exactly, Educting and promoting concerns that would be bring better coexistnece among the dofferent gender would go long way in steming discremination. No wonder the international day allotted to this effect to help drive wider reach and possible concessionary measures to the women. Though its implement would take time, however, it is gradual movement that would help closeup the gap

@xkool Thank you so much for reading and commenting on my blog. I wholeheartedly concur with your statement that eradicating discrimination requires raising awareness of issues that promote greater coexistence between the sexes.

It is encouraging to see that the international day for this cause is promoting greater awareness and potential initiatives to empower women. While putting these steps into action can take some time, it's important to keep advancing gradually in the direction of closing the gender gap. We can create a more just and inclusive society for all if we work hard enough.

Exactly, that is the essence of equitable coexistence.
Thanks for the engagement here.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting on my blog
