Hello everyone, today is a big day, especially for women as we celebrate them for significantly impacting the world. The topic for this year's International Womens Day happens to be based on technology which is very important in the world today.

Women And Technology

Before I start, talking about technology, a woman named Ada Lovelace was the first person to build a computer programming language and is often referred to as the first computer programmer. More about her on Wiki

Women are so blessed that they have all the capabilities to change the world and make it a better place for everyone but come to talk of time, at this time of the world, there are only a few women in technology which always give women more opportunities to go into technology.

The sad part is that even women/girls who study Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other program in Technology turn not to take it so seriously that in the end, they find themselves wanting. Because of this, in my school, they organized extra classes and more seminars for the ladies just to help them focus and learn something that will be very beneficial for them after graduation.

Even with this, only a few attend these seminars, and now the question here is 'How do we get women involved in technology?'. This is a broad question that will need thorough investigation with women. Many have the courage and enthusiasm but because of where they come from, limits them and others are not just confident enough and build the "I am not good enough" into their subconscious minds.

These really need attention and ways to get addressed. Women need to get involved in technology because to me wherever a man is, he needs a woman to help him in everything he does, ideas, and more.
