The Diary Game: I Had A Day Off From Work To Enjoy My Weekend (14-12-2024)

Hi darlings.. happy weekend to you from your baby girl @purpleidy23 to everyone in Steem Cameroon. I am happy to share my diary today, initially I was thinking work won't let me but I thank God my ASM just gave me today for rest.

When I woke up my roomie had already gone out, I was preparing to go out to work, but my ASM called and told me that they were upgrading the systems in preparation for salary payment, I was happy atleast salary will be paid early this month. so I slowed down the way I was rushing over chores and then when I was done, I ate and went back to bed.

It's Saturday and since there is no work and I don't have laundry to do, I was thinking of what to do to keep me busy, I took my phone and went to facebook to watch some funny clips then at some point It became boring so I login steemit and read some post, then I voted on them before going out to buy something.

When I stepped out, I saw this my neighbor, she was sweeping, she hasn't swept before and I was wondering why she did so not untill I remember the landlord was angry with her yesterday and asked her to exit his compound if she can't be joining other tenants to keep the compound neat, when I saw her, I greeted her and went out.

On coming back, she was done sweeping and to be honest, she did a very nice job, this is unlike her and I commend her for this. Then I went inside and finished the snacks I bought then slept off, what would I be doing if not to sleep and eat?

I even managed to wake up by 3pm, though I still felt like going back to bed anyways. But I woke up and went outside, then I saw this sofa, it was so nice that I even had to price my landlord if he will sell it for me, the price was way too high and though I wasn't in need of it yet but I just wanted to get it. I couldn't get him to sell it for me at my budget so I let it slide.

So I stayed outside till late in the evening, I was just enjoying the cool breeze the harmattan was causing, so I went to the backyard to stay, then I saw my landlord's kid making something like a camp fire to keep her warm, I had to join her, we kept ourselves warm till 7, then I went inside, took my bath and then I warmed the rice I prepared in the morning and ate.

After eating, I was tempted to go back to the fire place but the smoke from it will make me scent somehow so I stayed in my room to share my diary so that I can go to bed later. Be good guys, I will return tomorrow with another diary.
