The Diary Game: A Sick Day Trying To Be Fine (16-12-2024)

Hi.... My darlings welcome to today's diary with your favourite girl @purpleidy23. Today wasn't really a cool day to start with, I am sharing it right away, it's going to be the shortest diary I have written.

Today I woke up very sick, I told it's malaria but I need to get my salary first before talking about treating it or going for test. But I believe it's the weather condition that is causing this. When I woke up, I felt like taking a selfie of my sick face.

When I woke up, I stayed outside to see if I will be able to recover a little before doing any chore. After staying for a long time, I went inside my room to lie down because I was having fever and bathing cold water was a no for me.

After I struggled to get up again, I boiled water then I took my bath with the hot water and took boiled egg with bread for breakfast before calling my doctor friend to inform him about it so he booked an appointment with me to see him later in the day.

I was just on bed throughout the day without stepping my foot outside immediately I was done with my breakfast. By 4pm, the alarm I set woke me up, so I got up and struggled myself out of the house so I could go meet up with my doctor friend as he was the only person to give me prescription and even the drugs for free.

When I got to his office, I was told he went to meet a patient, so I waited for him and his secretary gave me this 1 litre fruit juice with meat pie, it was as if she was expecting me or something.

I couldn't eat half of what I was given, so I asked for a bag then I bagged them soni could take them back with me, maybe when I recover I might have the need to eat. I waited a little bit longer and he showed up, ran some test on me and within 2 hours my result was out and he gave me medication to take inorder to recover really fast.

Coming back home, I met my landlord's daughter loosing her mom's hair, she loves doing hair and I pray she finds the help she needs to further her training on styling. Then I went inside, took my bath and went back to bed.

By 7:15pm, I woke up and took the drugs I was given then went back to bed to rest. In as much as I was down, I still enjoyed my evening with the goodies I came back home with. I know it's not easy putting these words together, just that it's going to feel like my day isn't complete so I have to share how it went, thank you for being with me till now.
