One of the biggest failure of our school systems around the world is that, it only prepares you for employment. All what is being taught in school is how to become a good employee and they never teach you how to start or grow your own business.
The few courses that has to do with business are merely theory rather than a practical reality of the business world and the funny thing is that most of the things taught in school especially in the less developed world today are outdated and no longer reflect the demands of the corporate world.
For you to succeed, you need to master the skills necessary for success all by yourself. They don't teach you how to communicate, speak in public, make decisions, customer management, online marketing importance or how to invest properly in school. But, getting the degree is very important although you must be wise enough to start learning what's not being taught in school yet very important for you to succeed in life.
If you doubt what am saying, check the lives of most graduates, you will discover that most of them are unable to apply what they have learned in school thereby becoming unemployed or diverted even with the high GPA they had while those with connections went ahead because of corruption.
You should be wise enough, don't solely rely on what you are being taught in school because if you must achieve alot in this life, then self education is far more important.
