FICTIONAL FILM PRODUCTION IN CAMEROON : HOW FILMS ARE MADE

Good morning fellow steemians and trust u are doing great.
Film production is on of the areas that took me long to understand , what we see on screen for 5 mim or what ever lent of time takes alot of hours , to put together.i will want to start by saying , there are different types of film productions in the world but today I will be dwelling my write up on fictional film production.

The step of doing a film like;
STORY
to do a fictional film the first thing you do is have a story, a story is what makes a film from the bugging

SCRIPT
After the story next is a script. A script is a break down of the story in to character , dialogue and scene , detailing the environment ,and how it looks like.

CASTING
Casting is assigning actors to this roles in the script, chosing technical staff, like film directors, director of photography , WELFARE MANAGEMENT, LIGHTS , SOUNDS, CUSTOMER etc

LOCATION
this i finding what place will be able to tell the story best, as regards the time and moments epicted in the script.


WELFARE
This person ensures that cast and crew stay comfortable on set.

All this are done before the production start, when the cast and crew are in place then rehearsal start , to perfect the acting of the script as screen by the director.

SHOOTING
After rehearsal the cast and crew move to the location for shooting , the the images are Collected.

EDITING
After the shoot the images are are then selected in a process call editing that ensures some treatment and now , the film is ready for consumption.
This process complete could take days , months or even years depending on how long the story is .
