GREEN DEEDS : TREES PLANTED

Hello steemians and welcome to this edition of GREEN DEEDS. I would be writing on the type of trees I do plant, where planted and the importance of such a tree to mankind and the environment at large.

Man has affected the environment negatively through his or her activities. this is the main reason why we often hear of green gas effects, global warming, change of climate and so on. If our environment is not checked and the activities of man not requlated, the planet earth would be too hot to leave in.
Industrialization has come with it's own disadvantages of air pollution.
Deforestation has greatly affected the soil as you see a lot of landslide nowadays claiming a lot of lives.
Floading has caused a lot of damages lately. The plastics we used are poorly managed and they turn to block our drainage patterns.
Some of these activities are done out of ignorance while others do it intensionally for personal gains and care less about the future effects.

Knowing all of this I have decided to play my own little rule in preserving the environment. I have planted eucalyptus trees in my village to help hold the soil giving that the so environment is hilly and suffers from landslide. Apart from preserving the soil from landslide, the eucalyptus would equally serve as a source of revenue to the family.

Since am now in town and no space to plant trees of this nature, I now plant trees like pears and papayas given the limited space. This will help for medicinal reasons and for consumption as fruits are good for the body.
