Is time for me to participate in this challenge Gender visibility and equality, When women are given equal opportunity with men, the world will be a better place to live in and enjoyable as it'll make the woman have a sense of belonging rather than discrimination which will make them cry and die in silence. Women are great people and great leaders because of the qualities making woman visible and equal will go a long way.

How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

In our contemporary world today, women are facing the challenges of discrimination and humiliation as a result of their gender. Most men are of the opinion that the best place where the woman can express her views is only in her kitchen and not in the public. They propose that women can't do anything or take any decision independently without the assistance of a man. This has posed a serious threat to women in most aspects of life since they're seen as being less important.

Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes,
When women are being celebrated and honoured for their good deeds and efforts towards the growth and development of a community, it motivates them to do more. It creates enthusiasm as the ones who were scared of helping the society in one way or the other will work tirelessly to achieve that goal. The women's international day celebration has helped to relieve the women in some remote areas where people were still of the opinion of gender inequality and denied women the opportunity to participate in the affairs of the society. The awarenes and enlightenment has helped the society to know that women are as important as men as none can exist without the other.

Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

Feminism fight and women's right are two different things as each has a significance to women in the society.The fight for feminism whiich is a political movement argues that legal and social restrictions on women must be removed in order to bring about equality of the sexes in all aspects of public and private life. This fight has helped to uplift some barriers which were placed on women politically, socially, morally and otherwise. The fight for gender equality and visibility for women has yielded a positive effect as men who downgraded women and were proven to be the head in every sphere of life; in families, churches, communities and even in politics/government are paving way for the women to take control of such positions.
However, every citizen of a country is entitled to enjoy certain rights and privileges in a country. Therefore it entails that both male and female are entitled to this right. But some societies have made life so unbearable to women as most of these rights are being denied from them.
In most tribes, the women are being restricted in terms of movement, erring out their opinions in public and they are being denied of political participation.

What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community)

It's a beautiful thing when women are at the top positions because they have the interest of their followers at heart. As mothers of the nation, they pursue peace and ensure that they work with all their might to ensure that their goals are being attained and met. They also ensure that they make rules that will favour both young and old and offer help to the less privileged. Most times, people discriminate women at the top with the opinion that they're corrupt and won't be submissive to their husbands. People who are of this opinion and mentality are wrong as women have been seen to be among the best leaders. Example of a woman has left a reputable legacy in my community is the Minister of Agriculture who through her leadership didn't soil her hands or made the people regret having her in that position. She worked tirelessly to ensure adequate supply of food and employment in the agricultural sector. Indeed, people recommended her for being such a great leader who didn't shatter the people's hope but outperformed his male counterpart who was in the position before her.
Another example is the Chief executive officer who through her days of leadership cooperated with everyone. She pursued petheirnd administered justice in a way that an offender or law breaker was not allowed to be set free without punishment.

What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

A good leader is not determined by sex rather on merit. When a leader ascends to a particular position, it means that the society has seen great values in them which will help the society grow in all aspects not minding the gender. Gender does not assure a good leadership but the mindset, zeal, support from the followers and the love a leader has towards his subjects determines the leader's capacity and capability. Therefore, women should given the opportunity to lead out in families, communities and the society at large as it'll help to make the men who have been misusing the leadership opportunities sit up being aware of the fact that someone is competing with them and they will perform better since they might not want to lose such position.

Conclusion

No one should discriminate or see one gender as being superior and the other inferior. Together we can make the inferior ones to be superior as pushing them aside won't contribute to their well being rather seeing them as ourselves and treating them equally as every other person will go a long way to help.
