How to find happiness and emotional healing by forgiving:
There is a saying that we percived from elder people who say to air is human to forgive is divine,we all know that to forgive and forget is a difficult tasks , forgiving may sound difficult than it could sounds for some ,it is imposible but Letting go of pain anger is not an easy task .the following are the step to find happiness.
- how to start the process of forgiving , the process of forgiving required is to understand first that forgiving someone you love is not something to rush into , it can take time and the amount of time will vary from person to person and from situation to situation ,but it also depends on the gravity of the offense if you have to forgive someone you need to start first to be kind to yourself and mindful of your own feeling.if you are hurt ,you need to work through out your pain before you let it go and able to forgive the person who hurt you if not the forgiveness you will offer it will not be genuine,long lasting and it will be difficult to forget the hurt . having time to get of your pain ,it wi enable to guidance given by your faith and it teaching , support from those you love . You will have to separate forgiveness from approval the fact that you forgive someone doesn't mean you have agree with their actions or doesn't means you have some benefits and responsibilities for example are responsible respecting and valueing yourself by changing your circumstances.
identify your pain and put it into word ,this can be done through discussing your pain to a trusted friend or family member with a pastors or conversation with a qualified councelor whom you are comfortable it can also be by writing about your pain down.
determine what you don't want. This sounds logical but it is simple for example you may say "I don't want to be hurt any more" ,"I don't want to think about my pain any longer , being able to determine all the current emotional state can give you a good starting place for forgiving.
commit moving on this mean letting go of your mind of those who hurt you ,or talking away of anger in your life , letting go of all your pain forgetting the present action of the person that hurt .
- Remind yourself that the forgiveness is for you not them that hurt you , following this step of letting go of your anger allow you to live the life you were meant for and to do positive and healthy things going forward , hanging onto your pain it will eventually take your life , practicing forgiveness require strength and commitment .to be the person your God intended you to be..
However we have some problem encountered when we don't practice forgiveness - holding onto Pain can lead you to more emotional problem.
- depression, abusive, behavior,heart problem,eating disorder,high blood pressure.
Benefits of forgiving - reliving strees paving the way to more emotional stability
- let go of you pain open rooms in your mind and heart to forcus and appreciate the truly important people I your life
- forgiving can also enhanced your spiritual growth
- it cause to commit to the thing that are important to you forgiving is beneficial to our emotion and physical spritual growths
