STEEM BANK POWER UP CHALLENGE: 17/05/2021
Hello Steem world
Firstly I want to thank @thegreens for this initiative and am so glad to take part in this challenge. Am going to go straight to sharing with you my own understanding of what powering up is.
So what is powering up💪? Powering up is a process whereby a person decide to increase his or her steem power in order to increase their influence on the value of post ,comments and equally increase their ability to earn more from curation rewards in the steem community.
This is my wallet before poweringup and you see I have 395.923 of steem and 633.989 of steem power.
Below is the process of me powering up
Firstly
- Go to wallet
- click on steem and select powerup
Here you decide the amount of steem you want to powerup as you can see below I've decided to powerup 50steem
After that you click on power up
- Lastly you sign with your active or owner key to complete the transfer.
Below is my wallet after powering up
As you can see my steem power has increased from 633.989 to 683.989 of steem power which means I have powered up my account with 50steem and my steem has equally reduced by same amount.
This is pretty. Everyone must see this to learn from getting powered up for steem.
