One evening a saint sat in his room and and said to him self I have done all the things my God ask me to do, I have spent my whole life following his commandments in the monastery.but I feel I haven't practiced the love for the neighbor and it makes me incomplete to enter the kingdom of God .

so that same night , the saint parked his clothes and embarked on an unknown destination (journey) and that night it was threatening to rain with fierce thunder lightning in the sky but still yet he made up his mind to continue his journey.

after having galloped for quite a long distance, the rain started severely .so he had to look for an inn inorder to refuge himself. He suddenly saw a beggar in the rain , he was all wet from head to toe ,he was trembling, his eyes looked pathetic, the skin had changed colour due to the fierce rain, he did not have a top shirt to cover himself.

the beggar looked at him and felt so sorrow , so he decided to remove his cloth and divided it into two equal parts took one half and gave the beggar one piece.the beggar couldn't believe ,he stired at the saint for about a minute before taking the cloth.

the beggar left and went his way ,the saint also took his way.fortunately they met again in a house to seek refuge.the beggar met the saint eating and drinking in that refuge house and the saint was still surprised to see the person who helped him.

the beggar said to the saint " you were too kind to me, if it were other person's, they will remove their clothes to give him(the beggar) and staying without clothes.but as he knows the need of humanity and didn't pretend, he decided to cut the cloth into two equal piece because he is also in need of it and that others will even chase him away and not even assist him at all.

when the saint send his head down to take a piece of bread to offer the beggar while lifting his head , the beggar had disappeared.then the saint continued with his meal.

what we should learn from this topic is that we should not only learn the ways of God but also to practice it like the saint.

at the end, the saint was happy because he had completed a task he had never done, so he was free to go home with a peaceful mind.
I will urge each and everyone to be good to his or her neighbor
thank you for reading this literal art

may God bless you.
