Bribery Poetry

What is bribery?
Bribery can be defined as the ungodly practice of injustice and ill gotten and underserved gain by individuals of an establishment, company, society and country. One common term normally heard when mentioning bribery is corruption. Below in my own words is how I feel about bribery.

Bribery
practiced by many yet wrong and outrageous
it's just a change in figures they say
but this goes a long way punishing the innocent
while they expand daily

dishonesty practiced by the ones we have to look up to as modest and why not role models
in suits and briefcases termed as successful
hoarding is their lifestyle because they are scared of being asked
how,why and when

just take this amount ,
put my daughter at the top,
just keep shut about this murder case ,
let me just win,
just let me be the face of this company,

the innocent wither in their positions because
every opportunity has been already bought
by the own who has alot
I am because you are
considering all the odds

but in this case
you are what you can afford
oops,
that's the sad tragedy we all want to eradicate
it's no longer about merit but about the money
propagandas used at every meeting

even the lawyers no longer judge the guilty
they punish the who doesn't have or accept to give the funds
this phenomenon is making me sick
but how will I eradicate it
I'm just a nobody
who will hear me?
