What happens to you when you stay on past hurts is more detrimental than the intensity of the hurt.Your well-being is so important because its a great factor of production. Hurts affect your level of productivity.The seventy seven multiplied by seven times was given as the number of times to forgive was because God weighed the importance of forgiveness. By keeping malice, you cage yourself in a prison. Releasing those who have hurt you is in return releasing yourself. There are heights in life that you will be hindered to get there because of unforgiveness. Check your heart if you desire to get to heights unimaginable!
Despite the intensity of the hurts, there's no excuse for living in it because it is inflicting double pain on you. Every hurt is painful and keeping it is also painful while forgiving relieves. The son of God Jesus after all the torture could curse those who afflicted Him with pain but He said Father forgive them. As a redeemed of the Lord, you are well instructed and suppose to give your best to others even if they don't deserve it. When efforts are made to reward evil, you make yourself thesame with your offenders.The difference becomes loud when you wave all hurts and forge ahead where lies your crown.Wave it and move
The worst thing to do is to be in a prison that the person you think is responsible for your imprisonment left the door open. Most often we keep malice with people who don't even know they hurt us in any way. You can't prosper in prison no matter how you give yourself periodic outings. Don't be the reason for your stagnation. Forgive others so your father in heaven can also forgive you.
