How my challenging Monday went through and the words that made my day.

This was the first day for the class six end of term examination which I had to administer.
Later coming was not in the agenda of the school administration neither was it in mine.

In the early morning of Monday 06th Dec 2021, I left the house at 6:30 to reach school and get ready for the kids earlier. On my way the heavy unwanted and unexpected rain started pouring down as if angered for years.

Everybody ran helter-skelter in search of shelter to hold on for the rain to stop.
After a long one hour of heavy down pour, I was already late for school.

At the end, I had to rush out and meet up with the school examination.
On reaching school, I realised the rain was everywhere and caused everyone to come late.

So I was relieved since the rain disturbed everyone.

The test was well administered...

After the test, I marked and realised a well behaved and somehow intelligent young girl, was having a failed mark in all her subjects. I was shocked at that and had to call her to my table. I spoke to her like a father and asked a pot of questions very calmly and in an encouraging manner. She felt better and i was very happy.

I felt fulfilled as a teacher.

After school she came and told me "bye, Sir. I will study more with my parents"
