Good day once again to everyone, my name is oluwatimileyin and I welcome you to the season 8 of the engagement challenge.

I welcome you to my participation in the week 4 of the Engagement contest with the title: “An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away"

What do you understand by this statement?


The statement "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" is a very straightforward statement, it means exactly the way it sounded, this statement was to promote the idea of eating apples on a daily, so as to maintain a good health being and avoid getting sick.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away means that, by eating an apple at least on a daily basis, one can stay healthy and there will be no need to visit the doctor, on a regular anymore, as this means that we already have a healthy diet.

This statement is used so as to encourage people to eat apple on a regulars and it's a way of taking care of our health.


What are some practices/habits you do to make sure you're healthy? (State and give the importance in your own words)


Here are some practice on things I do to keep myself healthy regularly.

No 1. I always make sure to complete my meal with a balanced diet.

No 2. Consistent exercising, I sometime do this on the weekends only, but it's consistent and it serve it purpose for keeping up the body.

No 3. Getting enough rest - I don't joke with my Peaceful state of mind, in whatever you are doing, always make sure to get a rest the brain is not a machine.

These three habits are important to the human body in maintaining and keeping up with a good health.

A balanced diet meal will provide the necessary nutrients that the body needs to function perfectly, while a consistent exercise will keep the body firm and active and also help with the sugar level, while enough rest will allow the body and brain to recharge from the stress we've been through.


How did you discover these activities? Did you discover the activities/habits by yourself or someone told recommended them to you?


These activities are general and simple activities that I discovered through some research of my own.

Although, I didn't figure it out all at once , but I started with the body exercise and watching my eating habit at first, and I was surprised by how fast this works for me, which after that, I have encourage it and I fastly got addicted to it.

While this might not work for everyone effectively, but it has been tested and trusted by most people, so I'm sure it's safe to say that this is one of the best routine to keep the body active and firm.


What are the health benefits of the habit(s)?


The are several benefits of these habits which I have somehow explained before.

Eating a balanced diet food will help the body to maintain a good weight condition and will also reduce the risk of some diseases like diabetes

Constant Exercising will help strengthen the body and give the body a better posture.

Getting enough rest will help the body to reduce stress and keep the brain safe from burning out or body collapsing.


Do you think everyone could engage in these habits? Explain


Yes of course, I know that everyone can engage in these habits regardless of their health circumstances.

Even if you are a person with a busy schedule, there are some simple exercise that you can engage in at home , just make sure to keep it consistent and be serious with it.

Eating a balanced diet meal does not necessarily mean you have to expensive foods, it's just about making the right combination of food and there are some vegetables that can help to complete this in the safest way as possible.


What health tips would you give steemians?


My health tips for Steemians is that, there is no small place to start, just make sure to be consistent with it, and don't expect the result as early so this won't make you give up early, remember that health is Wealth, a good health is everything.

Try eating a balanced diet , and you can start this by replacing the snacks you consume everytime with Apple or vegetables.

Make sure to exercise regularly and keep it consistent, you can begin with some simple ones like taking a 15-minute walk after eating or doing some squatting every week.

The most important thing about keeping up with this is to be consistent and gradually you will see the changes in your body and be happy you made the choice of keeping your health in check.

Apple is among the healthiest fruits that have many benefits if we eat it regularly. The term really means it keeps doctor away.

You can feel the energy and change in your body when you regularly eat apple.

Your habits and practices are really good and we all Steemians must follow them because it will not only physically but mentally relax and strong us.
