Understanding women empowerment and promoting women's rights by @nanc 05/12/2021

Greetings to all my favorite people in this community, hope everyone is fine, today we share be talking on women empowerment and promoting women's right.
Women empowerment can be define as promoting women's ability to determine their own choices and their right to influence social change for themselves.
I have decided to write on women's empowerment because despite the promotion on women and girl's right, they still continue to face discrimination and voilence in every part of the world. Let us put hands together to fight against discrimination and voilence such as marriage before the age of 18 and sexual voilence.
Inorder for us to participate in women empowerment we have to stand up for equality and help other women speak up and help empower them. Many women continue to face challenges in the world and are not represented in decision making (like in my village, during a family meeting decision are made by the men why all women are in the kitchen cooking).
In this our country especially in the Muslim community, girls are made to do domestic work or married off for a dowry before they are adults. With this, a great deal is still left to be done to solve this problem and this can only be done by putting inn more effort to fight against it and I say red card🛑 to gender inequality.
Empowering women is essential because it promote social development of families, communities and the country atlarge. When women are able to live a productive life, living safe and fulfilled they can reach their full potential. Contributing their skills to the work force and raise happy and healthy children and this can be done through education. Those that are educated go for meaningful work and contribute to the country's economy.
To conclude, empowering women and girls is the key to economic growth, political stability and social transformation.
Let us put our hands together to empower girls and women.
