Understanding Water Scarcity.

Hello dear Steemians, hope you are doing well. Have you ever been at a situation where you don't have water to take your bath for some days? It's always so frustrating right?

Water scarcity is the lack of sufficient available water. Water scarcity often happens when the supply of water cannot meet the demand by the people in the community. Sometimes ,there is alot of mismanagement of water such that some of it is wasted, polluted with different forms of trash and unsustainably managed.There are some places that have suffered acute water shortages due to increase in population. With water scarcity,plants and animals suffer a great deal.People feel dehydrated with water scarcity as there is little to drink due to lack.Because of water scarcity some people are not able to take a proper shower. consequently ,they go for days without a bath, and sometimes have to clean but some parts of the body.
Sometimes They wear dresses repeatedly . some of them are worn dirty as it's not easy to get water to clean them due to water scarcity,some homes cannot be cleaned properly, worse still some toilets and baths.

Water scarcity has made children in communities to be sick due to the long distances that they cover to carry water. As a result of long distances in fetching water ,kids often get tired and are unable to go to school. They often return tired , sometimes with swellings and cannot cover another journey to school .When they do attend school ,they cannot learn because they are weak body and brain and also worry about their families. Families that can afford ,get many water containers in the homes to ensure that they avoid running into a seriouse water insufficiency.

To be able to fight water scarcity, it will be important to to prepare at everytime to ensure there is water to drink and use at home .some people no are already suffering water scarcity during the rainy season.this is because of inconsistent power supply and contaminated rainfall not very good for use.
