After a spiritual retreat in a convent
There is a lot of noise in the world from different television channels, the social media platforms, urban areas, cargo vehicles or trucks and travel agencies. If one is not very careful, you may not make the right choices for yourself as you have to listen to information coming from all of the above sources. This has led many people to experience stress and suffer from indecision that has affects them negatively. The situation would be different if you have to listen to yourself in silence.
Most times, the music that comes from the Hoofer or the loudspeakers in a neighbor's house, and nearby church or bar, causes a lot of disturbances and distractions in our minds. It is less noisy when we listen to the sound of running water, the singing birds and the buzzing bees. Other sounds also lead to the interruption of sleep. A strange person in a war zone will shiver and develop shock at the sounds of machine Guns and different sounds of gun shots. But another person who is already familiar with such sounds will sleep even when the loudest guns are fired. Loud and shocking sounds cause fear and can lead to breathing difficulties and heart complications for a lot of people. Global and local noise are inevitable.
We can therefore adopt strategies and seek to find silence that benefits our mental health. When we use the social media, we talk to thousands of people at the same time. That doesn't give us the opportunity to listen to ourselves than try to understand everyone we talk to. In most cases this leads to more confusion, more frustration more anger, more competition, than more happiness. No matter the joy we derive from the social media and the outside world, the greatest joy comes from within us and it is contemplated during a moment of silence.
Seeking silence and living in silence is quite uncomfortable for some people as this drives them into a world of solitude and loneliness. This can sometimes lead to depression. A lot of people have already adapted to a noisy world but then silence is very important as it helps many to be free from stress. it adds to their well-being, improves their heart health and helps people to sleep better. Silence helps you to be able to make good decisions by yourself and to be extremely creative and innovative. Silence helps you to communicate with your body and your spirit.
You can practice silence by being silent yourself. You can also practice silence through meditation, reflection, walking in nature, sitting alone in an open field, going up the mountain, sitting by a lake or a water body that is less noisy and having time for yourself. All these are very important when practicing a life of silence. Taking some time to think about you and to give yourself the best food, the best sleep, and the best of all is quite important. You will enjoy silence if you visit the Chapel or a place of prayer, while you take some time to reflect and pray.
Recovering from a state of delima, after listening to so many people,but finally took the decision to listen to myself in silence.
Practice yoga, mindfulness and reducing exposure to the social media and noisy places. This way you will be saner, free, thoughtful and be at peace with yourself and the world. When you seek silence you will find a lot of peace within you. Silence is a better way to connect and communicate with God than words can ever express. Cultivate the attitude of silence and it will help reveal a lot to you. There is a saying that a
“seed grows with no sound but a tree falls with huge noise. Destruction has noise but creation is quiet”
This is the power of silence. Grow silently.

Yeah this point is highly valid because there is power in silence as one will definitely benefit alot if he evaluate his life and keep silent because he will be able to benefit from it. There's an idiom which says "empty vessels makes the loudest noise". Here, we will realize that it make noise where's there's nothing inside but a vessel filled with something will always be silent
