The Diary Game / 16 JANUARY 2023

Hello great steemit family and to the other Muslim friends on here i say Assalamu Alaikum to you all🙏.

Monday was not a bad day at all, in the morning hours, since it was ghost town or lock down in my area, i was up early and got my house clean and smooth,the i woke up my cousin who came over for week end to get up so we could go and fetch for water. He was not buying the idea, since he slept late on Sunday because he was watching movies. I told him that if he sleeps knowing how the situation of water is bad around the university area,then he would not use the one i will carry. I left and went to search of water, but the usual places where we normally carry water had no water. In this area, during any time of the day if you step out of your house ,you must see someone looking for water.

I followed a group of young people and went right up to the village and there were compounds with water ,we divided our self and carried in different taps, i left and was coming back ,only to see that not too far from the junction some people were carrying their gallons and going behind one ladies house. I wanted to know if water was flowing there. I went there and checked and the water there was flowing well and not many people knew and just 3 people were there.

I hurriedly went and turned the water in my other buckets and went back to the place that was not too far and carried the water and came home. I made sure all the containers that could carry water were filled up.

I went to my kitchen and warmed the rice that i prepared on Sunday and told my cousin to wash his face and served him. We ate and after eating, he said we should go top the field and watch football . We left the house, and went to the field. Before we reached the field, my stomach started making a kind of noise like bruohhhhhh😅^repeatedly. I just said"^{it shouldn't be what i am thinking}. Then we were defending to the field. I we saw a youngman with a big dog and some sheep goats . Immediately i saw the dog i just shouted mamamiyey^(exclaimed) and crossed the road to the other side very fast😅. Only at the looks of that dog, if it follows you eh, "ya own don finish😅".^{(if it follows you, then its sorry for you)}. One of the reasons i ran was because the guy was not holding the chain firm enough for a big go like that.

My cousin was laughing at me and he said what if the dog ran into the field and we just laughed because incase any thing happened like that ,i would be bad but funny too.

We entered the field sat under shelter but there was cold 🥶 so we shifted down the stairs where the sun shone alit be towards. In the field some people were doing work outs, some where doing tireshoe ,some were running and others were playing ball in many different part in the field and around the field. There were others at the hand ball cort and tenis cort . We sat there for some time , then we left and went home . We came home sat outside by the road since theres no good network around my area. We sat for hours discussing and cracking jokes.

I came in and had a nap for a short while. One of my citè neighbors who is my course mate, csme and woke me up and was asking if i did the introduction to information and communication CA assignment , and i accepted. He wanted to see how i edited my cover page and wrote the table of content. When he was done, he left. After some time he came and told me that they had texted him that water was flowing around the cité, and that i should go along with him to carry water. I tried to turn the water in some things and i eased my self and used the empty buckets to go and carry the water . I came home and rested , my slippers were so dirty, and i had to wash them.

In the evening i was online on WhatsApp try to check for updates from the class group ,since the network was poor, the messages were taking time to show and i just had to be patient.
