The Diary Game 14 February 2023

Hello great steemian i salut you all. I hope and wish ya'll are in great shape and waxing strong, but well i will know how some of you are doing after reading you diaries.

My day was a good day and it went well as i share with ya'll below. On my previous post i told y'all about the meeting we were to have today, and so today i was up early so that by 7:00am on dot ,i should be at the meeting. I freshened up and by 6:30, i went and was at the hall by at 7 minutes to 7:00am. In the past years ,when you're amongst the first 3 people to be in the hall for the credit unions annual meetings, they will give you gift. I hurriedly went there but they didn't share any gifts this year. I stood there and they said they meeting will start at 8:00am and i had to wait till 8:00am. I sat there and was browsing and listening to music.

Before 7:30 people started coming in their numbers , we were asked to stand on the line and write your name ,account number and to sign. I did that and sat on the first sit but many people were passing and almost matching my shoes so i changed and went behind.

We were given water to drink during the meeting session, a hand book, and a pen. The meeting started ,they read the rundown of the program

We started with a word of prayer, followed by appointment of scrutineers, other legal formalities, presentations of annual reports, such as the;

• Youth Committee Reports
• Women Committee Reports
• Supervisory Board Reports
• BODs Reports

We proceeded with presentations of Audited Accounts for the year **2021/2022 and 2023 Draft Budget. The next on the program was presentations and admission of member in 2021 and 2022 since they didn't organize the meeting in 2021 and 2022. The spoke on the total amount that was in the union and other expenses, and loses.
They gave opportunities to some guest that were invited to make brief speeches from guests, there was always award of prizes to new leaders or and those who were facing out (retiring). They told us about an arm rubbery that took place last year and they lost a huge amount of money but in about three days after the rubbery one of the arm rubbers was seen dead early on a sunday morning at the junction.

They said the number of members increased from 11 thousand members to 13thousand members in the last two years and the interest rate has increased by 4%. Since there is no hall or facility in the northwest that can accommodate up to 13 thousand people in one sitting, they said they have implemented new measures to hold meetings online and with the use of an app. They gave room for questions and answers and people asked alot of questions. The question that really got my attention was a question asked by an old man who ask a question, but before i forget, when one was to ask a question, he/she had to say the name and account number. The old man asked " since the company is implementing new measures for upcoming meetings, what will and other old people do since he cannot see well or use an android phone properly and what about some members in crises areas or some in places where theres no network?.Some people were laughing and there was alot of momoring in the hall. The manager answered the questions and others asked and after all the questions. The manager thanked every one for coming and left.

I went home, and ate ,collected my bag and went to town to get a taxi that will bring me to school. I reached my house and there was no lights . I used the power bank to charge my phone, took a bath , went and bought things for dinner(eggs,spices,peakmilk,). I made dinner and about the time it was ready the lights came,

I wanted to charge the power bank but the switch on the wall was bad and i had to fix it so i did what i could and repaired it and charged my power bank and rested for the day.
