THE MONTH OF LOVE: FEBRUARY ❤️
February is the second month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian schedules. The month shares 28 days for all intents and purpose years or 29 in jump years, with the 29th day being known as the jump day. It is the first of five months not to have 31 days (the other four being April, June, September, and November) and the main one to have less than 30 days.
February is the third and last month of meteorological winter in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, February is the third and last month of meteorological summer (being what might be compared to what is August in the Northern Hemisphere).
February comes from the Latin word februa, and that signifies "to purify." The month was named after the Roman Februalia, which was an extended celebration of sanitization and compensation that occurred this season.
This is a result of basic numerical truth: the amount of any even sum (a year) of odd numbers will forever approach a considerably number-and he needed the absolute to be odd. So Numa picked February, a month that would be host to Roman ceremonies regarding the dead, as the unfortunate month to comprise of 28 days.
February might be the most limited month of the year, however there are still such countless significant days and festivities stuffed into the 28 days (or 29 assuming it's a jump year). After you've remembered all of the January occasions, it's an ideal opportunity to flip the schedule.
