25% burnsteem Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 27/08/2022

Good day my fellow steemians. I want to believe that you are all fine. Here comes one more day and we are thankful to the Almighty Allah. my regards to @saxopedia and @steem-cameroon for this contest. I will get a kick out of the chance to impart to you guys the best and greatest day of the week. It was on the 21st of August 2022, that was on Sunday. It was a dinner night in my school.

REASONS WHY IT WAS MY BEST DAY

It was a Sunday night when my friends and I prepared to go to a night night in our school which was organized by the ladies of navro. It wasn’t for only ladies though. They said and it was even written on the flyer that the program will start around 6:00pm. My friends and I dressed up and started walking towards our school auditorium.

Guess what? We were the first people to attend to the program. We taught we were late till we reached there. We then asked on of the organizers and she said they the time has been postponed to 8:00pm. We couldn’t go back home. We entered the auditorium and looked for a nice place to sit. We used the second table on the middle.

We sat for a very long time and still people aren’t coming. They shifted the time again to 10:00pm. My friends and I then decided to take pictures and videos. @aisha567 is the one wearing the wine dress, Marcelina is the one wearing black and I am the one wearing the white gown.

People started coming and the auditorium was now full. The MC, Appiah Wendy took her mic and started her work. The main aim of the night was to choose the best girl for our school. Miss CKT, we call it. We had about 7 contestants.

Namely: Khairiya, Jessica, Amina, Hawa, Emilia, Ama and Bernice. They were all out and showed us their talent. Every contestant and what she had to present. The first, third and fifth contestant danced and the others showed us a different talent.

It was around 12:00am and still the food wasn’t ready 😭. Not even water to quench our thirst. Even though we enjoyed the program, but we had to be eating whiles watching. They started serving from the back and it finished just on the table before ours. We sat for about 30minutes again before ours was ready. It was yam balls with vegetables and chicken. We enjoyed the food and took the soft drinks plus the bottle water.

After the food, we regain our energy back. We were soo happy even though we were very tired and exhausted. We couldn’t go back home even though it was very late. We waited to see the winner of the miss CKT. They performed very well and we couldn’t even choose the winners ourselves.

They all had their code which must be used when voting. They used 60% of the performance and 40% of the voting to chose the winner. There were a lot of awards given to a lot of people. Awards such as: the most fashionable, best TikToker of the year, interesting hostel, best Entrepreneur and many more.

CONCLUSION

Last Sunday was my best day of the week since it was extremely fascinating and a ton of energy despite the fact that there was a lot of stress. We waited for a very long time before they announced the winner. The winner was the seventh contestant, Bernice. She performed marvelously. We celebrated with her and went back home to sleep.
