Steemit Engagement Challenge S8-W2 | Gender visibility and enquality.
Hello Everyone. I am @msharif
From #Bangladesh
Hello friends how are you all? Hope everyone is well. Today I am back again to discuss with you a new topic and participate in a new contest of Engagement Challenge. The topic that I am going to discuss today is a very important topic and is discussed a lot in today's society. Anyway I would like to thank Steem Cameroon for organizing such a unique contest.
I think all the people in this world have equal rights in everything be it boy or girl. I always believe in keeping everyone equal and I think we can make our world a better place if we don't discriminate between boys and girls and work with gender equality.
Because I think that half of everything that has been created in this world is done by men and the other half belongs to women. Because in today's era, women are working equally and women are working equal to men in all aspects, so I would definitely like to move forward in this world by giving women equal rights to build the world. If I ever get a chance, I will definitely work hand in hand with everyone to build a country that respects women on an equal footing with men.
Certainly the celebration of International Women's Day can play a big role in the realization of women's rights. Because when a topic is talked about all over the world and a day is celebrated together, everyone thinks about it. Everyone try to take this matter seriously and give proper respect to women.
So I think until women are properly honored then International Women's Day should be properly celebrated worldwide. And I'm always in favor of it.
I think the fight for feminism and the fight for women's rights are two different things. Because through these two women's rights are talked about. For example, women's suffrage, work, sex, all these issues are discussed in these two. Women's rights have been brainwashed in our patriarchal society in such a way that men are always above women and women are not perfect in anything. Due to which women in our society have to struggle in various types of movements for their rights. Which should not be at all.
That's why I always want women to get their rights back by making them suffer so that they don't have to go into any movement so that they can take out the things from people's minds that women are not small, women are equal, then they can work to move this world forward.
I can proudly say that in our country Bangladesh most of the big positions in the workplace are given to women. Especially now women are seen more in our country from the prime minister to the school headmaster.
You all know that currently in our country the Prime Minister is a woman, the leader of the opposition in my country is a woman, the education system which serves as the backbone of the people is based on a Minister of Education in our country, the Minister of Education is a woman, besides, women are working as heads of various big offices, in various universities. Working as professors, doing very well as school-college teachers and effective roles of women are seen in various government and private institutions. Which I 100% appreciate. I think women and men have equal rights to build a society. If women and men work together shoulder to shoulder, we can move this world forward beautifully.
If talking about what makes a good leader then I must say competence. It doesn't really matter whether you are a man or a woman, if you are a qualified candidate then you can definitely be a good leader.
As an example, I would like to say that the current Prime Minister of our country, Sheikh Hasina, is a qualified leader. He is presenting Bangladesh in the court of the world in such a way and working to make Bangladesh a digital Bangladesh which is actually very commendable. And I think it's really difficult to do such things without a qualified person. Maybe if we had a male prime minister in our country he would not be able to work in such a way that we could not improve the country if he was not qualified. So I think in making a good leader merit should be given more importance than gender.
I invite @goodybest @nadiaturrina @jyoti-thelight to participate in this contest.
Good publication friends, in my country even women have served as heads of state or the highest positions in government.
Good luck with the contest.
Thank you so much my friend.
I'm glad to know that you appreciate women, and seek for their equal rights and opportunities! Its good to learn that your prime minister is a woman! and that she performs her duty perfectly well, this never happened in my country, but we're hoping for the best! Thank you for sharing with us, I've already made an entry and you may want to check.
Hope it will happen in your country. All the best for the contest.
I completely agree that the celebration of International Women's Day can play a significant role in realizing women's rights. It helps to raise awareness about women's issues, achievements, and contributions to society, and encourages people to take action to support gender equality.
Moreover, the global attention generated by International Women's Day creates an opportunity for individuals and organizations to come together and collaborate to make positive changes for women. It's a day to celebrate the progress that has been made towards gender equality and to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done.
You help to raise awareness about women's issues this is really good I really appreciate it. Thanks for your comments.
I am happy with what is happening in your country. In Indonesia it is also the same. There are many important roles in which there are women. Good luck for the contest. Thank you for the invitation. I have also participated in this contest.

It's just the simple truth. Both genders should be given the same footing to create balance between the two genders. Funnily, the women gender is a more strong and resilient gender with potency to emit less crime and traits of corruption.
