How society regards to Person’s with disabilities in our society

Hello steemians trust you all had a great day. Today we will be looking at persons with disabilities in our society how the society regards such persons .

The social model of disability says that disability is caused by the way society is organized, rather than by a person's impairment or difference.

In our society today many people look at persons with disabilities as those who have no say in the society as they are denied certain jobs opportunities because of the fear that they won’t be able to stand the nature of that particular job because they have no legs 🦵 or hands 🙌 thus causing that feeling of inferiority complex in them.
They are often very talented but because of what society think and say about them many are not able to showcase this hidden talents in them.

They are facing social hurdles in the form of prejudice, discrimination and avoidance. They become object of pity while they are in a group. They are socially isolated but it is mirrored by physical isolation.

Society often views the disabled (handicapped) as “less than human.” There is the perception they do not feel pain the way typical individuals. They do not have the same needs, desires, or feelings as typical individuals and therefore are not entitled to the same rights and considerations as typical individuals which is very painful to handle often .

If society could look in to this by giving the disabled great value and making them to belong in the society, by showcasing their talents in all aspects will greatly change that perception we all have about handicap people .
