The Diary Game (8/05/2025) Attending choir rehearsal after a long while

Good morning, beautiful Steemians across the globe! I'm excited to be here today with you all. Happy weekend, and I hope you're all doing excellently well. As for me, I'm doing well too. I'd like to share with you how my Thursday daily routine went. Please take a moment to read till the end – I think you'll enjoy it.

That Thursday, I started the day by waking up early at 6:30 am. I began with my morning prayer, followed by my usual morning chores, which included cleaning my room and making my bed. After completing my chores, I headed to the bathroom for a refreshing bath, and then got dressed for the day.

Next, I headed to the kitchen to prepare a simple yet satisfying breakfast, consisting of tea, cake, and a boiled egg. After fueling up, I grabbed my bag and set off for my friend's church. She had invited me to attend a program they were hosting, and I was happy to accept her invitation and show my support.

I strolled down to my friend's house, and we walked together to the church. By the time we arrived, the service was already underway, having completed the opening prayer, worship, and praise sessions. We joined in during the testimony sharing time.

The church program began smoothly, and the pastor delivered a powerful sermon. During the service, he also prophesied to several individuals, and many experienced deliverance. The service was quite lengthy, lasting from around 10 am to 3 pm.

After the church was dismissed, my friend and I headed back home. I was extremely hungry by then, but I still managed to walk back home.

After arriving home, I quickly prepared a meal to satisfy my hunger and then took a short rest. Before I knew it, the time for my choir rehearsal had arrived. I swiftly packed my bag and headed to my church for rehearsal.

Upon arriving at the church, I ran into a few of my fellow choir members at the entrance gate. We walked in together and headed straight to our mass choir practice, which brought together singers from two different choirs.

The rehearsal lasted for over an hour, as we worked on perfecting a complex So-fa-note arrangement. Once we finally nailed it, we concluded with a closing prayer. Afterwards, everyone headed home, but I took a moment to capture some memories – here's one of the photos I took:

On my way back home, the bus we were on ran out of fuel, so the driver pulled over at a fuel station ⛽ to refuel. Once he'd filled up, we continued our journey. When we reached my junction, I decided to get off and stop by a roadside stall to pick up some fresh cucumber, my favorite fruit.

After arriving home, I warmed up my leftover beans and enjoyed them with garri for dinner. Feeling satisfied, I lay down on my bed and drifted off to sleep. My phone's battery was almost dead, with less than 10% charge left, so I couldn't use it anymore.
