The Diary Game [23/09/2024]The Joy I Had On Monday

Happy weekend my beloved steemians across the globe, it's really been awhile, but I'm back fully for food. Hope you're all enjoying this wonderful weekend with your love ones and family members and even friends, as for mine it is going smoothly.

I am excited to share with you the joy I had on Monday because it was something I never expected could happen but it happened for my good and I can't forget it in a hurry.

I woke up so late that Monday morning at about 7 am, which is very very unusual and I couldn't figured out what exactly happened. So I just went straight to the bathroom, took my shower sharpenly but before then I had put what I'm going to eat on fire because I can't leave the house without taking my breakfast even when I was running late for work.

In my mind I said the worse will happen today because I knew if I get to the shop and meet my madam there, that means I am definitely going back home because she doesn't tolerate lateness not even with your geinue excuse, she must sent you back home.

So I concluded in my mind that anything that happens today I will face it with my full chest but I still have to eat food first so that I can be able to face the challenge 🤣.

After dressing up and my breakfast was ready too, so I ate it as fast as I could in order to still meet up.

When I was done eating, I carry my work bag and move, I even forgot to carry my lunch because I was running late and secondly, my mind was telling me that I will soon come back home, so there's no point carrying lunch to work.

Getting to the shop, I was 30minutes behind time and my heart was beating so fast. But I was surprised to meet with two of my colleagues sitting outside the shop and the shop was locked, I said let me go closer first and ask what the matter was.

My mind was not still calm yet as I didn't know why they are outside. So they told me that madam gave them the wrong key to the shop the previous day and they have tried opening the gate of the shop since 8 am that they came.

They have even called her yet she is not answering her calls, that was how my blood level became normal because the tension I was, is something I can't explain.

So we waited outside there till about after 10am before my madam finally came and saw us, so she now looked for the normal key from her bag and gave us to open the shop.

We all entered the shop and started cleaning up the whole place and also putting things in place for the day work to begin.

My madam shared duty to us to work on, that was how I was on the machine from that morning time till my closing hour, I didn't even care to eat as other were eating their food, beside, I wasn't even hungry because I had taken my mind off food at that particular moment since I knew that I didn't come with any lunch and I wasn't ready to buy any snacks knowing too well that it won't belleful me (satisfy).

Before I knew it, my closing time was here and I arranged and packaged my bag, when my madam saw me trying to cleary table, shw asked if I am done with the fabric she gave me for sewing and u told her no that it will be completed the next day and she just didn't say anything again.

So as I left the shop on my way back home, I stopped by the roadside to buy fruit, Cucumber, that is my favorite fruit.

I bought small portion of it which I will eat for the night.

After paying I carried it and continue with my journey back home. As I got home and was trying freshened up, one of my friend call that she's on her way coming to my house.

I actually wanted to eat immediately I finished taking shower but I had to pause it and wait for her to come so that we can eat together.

As she came, I saw that she brought ripe plantain with her, so I quickly boiled it so that we can use the stew i had at home to eat with it.

After we finished eating, I wanted to have some rest but she said no way, because she came for me to help her work on her system, and also installed some apps for her.

That was how I worked on the system till I slept off that very Monday.
