I will be talking about Japanese Melon with scientific name known as "CANTALOUPE" this fruit has a lot of benefits to our bodies even though many of us might not know about it. Japanese melon is being cultivated just like water melon
BENEFITS OF CANTALOUPE ( JAPANESE MELON)
It's very rich in vitamin C 61% and it has a powerful antioxidant that protects your cells from damage
It is also rich in vitamin A which helps keeps your eyes skin, bones, and immune system healthy
About 12% of your recommended daily potassium important for your heart, muscles and blood pressure
Cantaloupe is also rich in minerals such as
Folic acid
Calcium
Zinc
Copper
Iron
Vitamin K
Nacin
Magnesium
Phosphorus
Manganese
Sodium
NB This fruit is not advisable for kidney patients because their kidneys may not be able to filter out all the extra potassium and can lead to a situation called hyperkalemia.
Also, cancer patients should really limit the j quantity of japanese melon they eat because this can be hard on your intestine
HOW TO PREPARE CANTALOUPE
Wash the fruit well, cut into desirable sizes , peal the back, remove the seeds and it's ready for consumption. Cantaloupe can be found in super markets
