The Daily Diary Game of 2/6/2021
Hello Steemians. Trust we are doing well. It’s been long I had fellowship with my Steemit family.
About Tuesday the 2nd of June, I got up fired up for the day at 5am, did my morning prayers and jumped out of my bed straight to my living room and started studying a book “Mixing Engineer’s Handbook” by Robert Kiyosaki.
I had been mixing a song I’m producing with a good friend I can’t reveal yet until the song is out. Until last night I realized I had not done a good job. My work was not that close to my reference track. So I had to start studying again from scratch. Learning for me is like a loop, it never ends and I always do my best to be better each day than before.
After studying for like an hour, from 6am to 7am, I brushed my teeth, took my bath, put on my clothes and packed my things for work.
I left my apartment and decided to pass by and say hello to my baby (Miriam, my neighbor’s child). As beautiful and and sweet as she is, no day goes by without me carrying and spending some time with her.
I left the house for work at around 9am. On my way to work I realized there was traffic like I had never seen before in the morning. I had to meet my boss at Finance to get some things for the office. On my way I realized what actually caused the traffic. I saw many bike men with their bikes carrying peace plants and going through towards Mile 4 from Nkwen. They took almost 20 minutes before they all went through.
When they had all gone through, after waiting and viewing for over 20 minutes, I realized how hungry I had become. So I stopped by a cafeteria to get breakfast. I had spaghetti and eggs
Whilst on my way to my boss’ office I was informed, via a text, that he was too occupied with other things and it wouldn’t be possible we meet.
I left Finance for the office immediately. I’m a studio engineer at Beyond company located behind Mawa Hotel Mile 6.
I spent the day in the office doing some cleaning and arranging equipments for work.
Some of the arrangements were rerouting a module for the electronic drums and trying out other possible setups
My boss got to the office (studio) around 4:30pm while I was still doing the drum routing. I presented what I had done. He tested it and was happy with the results he heard.
I closed work at 6pm and got a taxi for my house.
Arriving the house I was too tired from the long day’s work. I went straight to the room and then crashed.
Lesson for the day... What you know is never enough, you can always check out other possibilities to add to what you already know.
