Gender visibility and equality

It's good for we to have an overall idea of the topic gender visibility and equality. On this note, i will say that gender equality is the point were we see men and women to be equal in the society by having the same rights and obligations.

I will like us to have the understanding that men and women can not be compared when we talk about nature. This is because nature has made it to be that women has different features likewise men. Looking at the political affairs and the economy of our country, i suggest that women should be given an equal rights to participate and also take the leadings. Some women has extensive knowledge when it comes to management, economics, politics and even socials. Women rights should equally be given for their participations in the affairs of the country.

👉🏾 How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

Gender equality helps in developing women and their abilities to take active part in the socioeconomic welfare of their country. In certain areas of life, such as the community, society and even in government, equal opportunity granted to men should be given to women.

Today in my country (Nigeria), because of the sentiment in the political seat, the men are very destructive in nature. I think this violence should be controlled among men and there should be a security measures for women. Opportunities should be given to both sex as equal rights and obligations in the country given to both male and female to move the country forward.

👉🏾 Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Whenever you celebrate somebody, the person would feel that sense of belonging to either a society or a community. Today is a special day set aside to celebrate women worldwide and this calls for great joy.

In order not to be left out, the women of Nigeria has made efforts in joining the world in total celebration of the International women's day. This is marked every 8 march of the year and today is the deal day for the celebration in remark of this publication. It's a great day which promises were made by our politicians to bring women out of poverty. every year march 8th, this day is been celebrated for remembrance of the promises made by politicians to bring women out of poverty. This is the right of women to fight and compete to move the country forward without looking at whether you are male/female and for remembrance of gender equality.

👉🏾 What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community)

In Nigeria my country, getting a political position as a woman is always difficult. This is always caused by placing a high cost of buying ticket to the political position, which women can not even afford. Salaries are not been paid to workers, how and where women can get cash to buy the ticket? The presidential election that just took place on the 25th of February 2023 here in Nigeria, the ticket was sold for #100,000,000. Where can women get such amount to run the race? All this is because of the selfish interest of our politicians.

In Nigeria, no woman has standout as president in the country. Other organs that women are given to control are still subject to control by the top male politicians. I will say that in my country, women are not up to 30% in control of the top offices in Nigeria.

👉🏾 What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

A good leader can never be picked out of gender, whereas, the track records of achievements, ability, confident and how you were able to serve the masses even at that low position, can be a great criteria for making a good leader based on merit. However, gender does not play the role of selecting a good leader.

Today our political seat are been ragged for people whom track records has nothing to write about but there are some able women that this positions are handed over to them, they can do more better than men in moving our nation forward.

Conclusion

In my opinion, it's good to strive and support gender equally in a nation. This is liken to the political affairs, economy affairs and educational system even to our rural areas. This is my idea on gender visibility and equality that is taking part in our country.
