Cameroon Best day Contest | 23-1-2025

Some days ago when i chatted one of my old time friend named Gama that we last meet some few years back after our secondary school but due to academy pursuit and he was opportune to go to the university immediately after secondary education uptill then we have not seen each other for a while, i was surprised and happy when he told that he will stop by and spend some few days with me before proceeding his journey to school at Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) in kogi state,
But at thesame i ask him how possible will that be because his dad usually accompany him back to school every time with his car but he told that this time won't be like other time because his dad have urgent meeting to attend in Calabar, so he gave him transport fare back to school instead of his usual escort, he added by saying that he will be starting the journey on Tuesday morning as early as possible that is 14th January.

Gama actually fulfilled his promise and started his journey on Tuesday 14th around 9:00am from Cross River State to Enugu state which was just about 4 to 5 hours journey from Cross River to Enugu so because of his coming that day i didn't go to work in other to welcome him when he reached Enugu, instead of seeking permission from my boss and rushing to picking him up so instead of all this I just stayed back home and pretended to my boss that am not feeling too well that day.

When he was almost approaching the motor park where he will be stopping he called me around few minutes pass 2o'clock in the afternoon that he is almost there that was when i went to welcome him and immediately we saw each other we gave ourself a very good hug that really feels emotional to the point that some passerby was just looking at us with so much curiosity in their mind, so after some minutes of little discussion with him in the park then we move towards the roadside and stopped a tricycle that took us from the park to where i was staying which was not that far from the park.
When we got home after taking his bath I offered him something to eat and after eating he decided to rest a little while because the journey was somehow stressful and later in the evening we decided to have a walk around my street for some minutes when it was night we started ate dinner together and started playing started playing online game called Cross fire until it was almost mid-day that was when we went to bed because it late already.

After the next two days been it Thursday 16th we woke early around few minutes pass six in the morning that was when he started preparing and packing some of his things and when he was done i follow him back to the park which was Holy Ghost Park in Enugu where he entered motor that was conveying passengers to lokoja together with one of his course mate who lives at Enugu as well when the vehicle was about to leave that moment i felt like shedding tears because i have started missing him already but I just have to consoled myself since there was no one to do that and I just let things be because the journey and mission of life need to be accomplished to a reasonable extent and i believe we would still see each other again definitely by the grace of the almighty and to be sincere i really enjoyed the short time we had together assive things should just go back as it was before, the short and wonderful moments i spent with him apart from that staying close to my family and friends is what i cherish so much because it makes me happy and feels good that's why i consider this day as my best day.
