Gender equal world is something that seem to be impossible in our country Nigeria where men are always seen first and place higher above women. As a lady, I have witnessed a lot of this in my department even as a student.

👉🏾 How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

There are a lot of things that I can do to help my Community forge a gender equal world if giving the mandate to do such. However, some of the things that I will do to help my community is by increasing women representative in leadership and decision-making that will redistribute care and productivity and progress towards creating a better gender equal world.

Another way that I will help my Community to forge a gender-equal world is to empower and fund the organization of women's in my Community. A strong women organization can be able to speak out aloud on behalf of other women if they can bring out their voices together. Finally, to this, I will ensure that women are giving the same quota in jobs recruitment in my community.

👉🏾 Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes, celebrating Women's international day can increase visibility and equality. Women's international day is usually on 8 March, which is a day that women's can come together In a large number, be in physically or on social media and began calling for policy and social reforms that can help stop gender equality in our community and the world at large. Celebrating Women's international day can increase visibility and equality, and as well drive change for good.

👉🏾 Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

No the both are different for the reason being that the Feminine fight is a political movement that is based on social theory which brings about argument concerning the participation of women in both public and private enterprises. What this means is that is a movement that stop the restrictions on women from having key position in both public and private enterprises. Whereas

Women's Right fight, is the movement that fight or bring an end to unlawful discipline on women. Also, it can be seen as a movement that gear towards collecting the rights that are fully mean for women in our society. Like, for example, the right for a man to take good care of his wife.

👉🏾 What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country (community)

Despite the issues of gender equality that is in Nigeria, there are women that have made us proud and proof to the world that women can do better in top positions. There are many that have done that who are still doing that in Nigeria, which I strongly believe that women can do better in top positions than even men. For example, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iwela is a woman that is highly respected in my country due to her contribution in making Nigeria a better country.

She is one of the woman that snap Nigeria Economic for good. Since she left office our economy has always been shaking instead of rising which is to show us that women can do better in top positions.

👉🏾 What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

Integrity is what makes a good leader. Integrity is the state of being wholesome or completely pure. A good leader that have integrity can lead his or her people very well. Be a man or a woman of your words as a leader. However, there are some other quality that makes someone a good leader which are:

  • Self-awareness
  • Garner credibility
  • humility
  • Relationship building

This is the quality of a leadership that I can share with you for now. Thank you for reading my post.

I am inviting: @yakspeace @temitopef, and @roomi to also join.

Thank you so much for inviting me to the contest. I read about your studies on gender equivalency and the conduct that can be taken to achieve it in your community. It's unfortunate to hear that men are placed advanced above women in Nigeria, but it's inspiring to know that there are individualities like you who are passionate about making a change.

Your suggestions on adding women's representation in leadership and decision- timber, empowering women's associations, and icing equal job reclamation proportions are all excellent way towards creating a gender-equal world.

You also bring up an important point about the significance of celebrating Women's International Day in adding visibility and equivalency. It's a day that serves as a memorial to reflect on the progress that has been made towards gender equivalency and to continue pushing for change.

Your discussion on the difference between the Feminism fight and the Women's Rights fight is perceptive, and it's important to fete that both movements are necessary in achieving gender equivalency.

Incipiently, your exemplifications of women in top positions likeDr. Ngozi Okonjo Iwela are important monuments of the eventuality that women have to exceed in leadership positions.

Your post is a great insight into the discussion on gender equivalency and the way that can be taken towards creating a more indifferent world. Wish you success in the contest
