Gender visibility and equality refers to ensuring equal opportunities and protection for men and women in all socio-political economic spheres.There have been different types of movements in various organizations to protect women's rights, we got the opportunity to celebrate International Women's Day. Which has taken the empowerment of women a step forward.

✅01)-How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

Gender inequality is seen in almost all countries of the world, only its manifestations are different. It refers to the right to equal opportunities and protection in every aspect of economic, political and social life of women and men. In today's world, the issue of women's rights is closely related to gender discrimination. So we need to make everyone in the world aware to create a gender equal world. And now the most known medium is the online social media platform. For this I think that the initiative should be taken -

Various programs should be implemented on women's education and empowerment of women, including the celebration of International Women's Day and mass campaigning on women's rights laws.

Today our lives are intertwined with powerful technology. In the digital world, all activities & all important daily tasks are done through digital processes. Therefore, if we can ensure 100% participation of women in the digital space by utilizing the innovative power through the advancement of technology, it will help in creating a gender equal world. In addition to increasing the rate of women's education, they have to raise their voice directly through training to protect their own rights. International Women's Day celebration will play a big role for this.

✅02)-Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Women's Day is observed on March 8 every year with the aim of showing respect and reverence for women and establishing financial, social and political rights of women. In 1857, women protested against fixed working hours, wage inequality and inhuman working conditions in New York, USA. After much uphill struggle and many protests, the United Nations declared March 8, 1975 as International Women's Day. Women's Day has been celebrated with due dignity since before 1971 in our Bangladesh.

This International Women's Day is celebrated by different countries of the world by implementing different programs. For example, extensive discussions on women's rights, talk shows, seminars, cultural programs, plays against gender discrimination, stage plays, special publications in newspapers, etc. Through these special programs, public awareness is increased, a sense of respect for women is developed, and women can be made aware of laws and rights. Women's Day is celebrated all over the world with due dignity, so every person in the digital world can know about the visibility and humiliation of women through social media sitting at home. As a result, everyone became vocal in the cause of women's rights and equality. Therefore, celebrating International Women's Day helps reduce gender inequality by increasing visibility and equality.

In terms of discussing the struggle for feminism and the struggle for women's rights, the two essentially mean the same thing.

Feminism: Feminism is a 20th century movement that was organized to meet the demands of women's rights, women's empowerment, women's suffrage and women's equality with men. Most Western feminist historians believe that all movements that have worked to achieve women's rights should be considered feminist. Because the main goal of the feminist movement was the fight for women's rights.

Through the feminist struggle, certain rights of women were protected. It works on women's family law, suffrage, rape laws and gender equality. As a result, the struggle for feminism was the struggle for women's rights, and the two are one and the same.

I am Bangladeshi and I will say about women rights in my country that my country is quite vocal in protecting women rights. We can understand that only if we discuss some things.The current prime minister of Bangladesh, Jannetri Sheikh Hasina, is a woman. Our country's Parliament Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury is a woman, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni is a woman, Home Minister Shahara Khatun is a woman. Also, out of 350 members of my country's parliament, there are 50 women members. In our country, women are continuing their work by enjoying equal rights along with men in more and more sectors.

✅05)-What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)?

To be a good leader, his personality, education, talent, interest in work are noticed. Here, women or men are not a big issue, the one who is qualified or who is selected as qualified has the right to be the leader. That is why before making a good leader, his qualifications must be checked. Women's empowerment will be safeguarded if good leaders are selected through qualification verification without increasing gender discrimination in eliminating gender discrimination and protecting women's rights.

According to the law of Bangladesh, 50 seats out of 350 seats in the parliament are reserved for women, but women can participate in any of the remaining 300 seats. This law plays a significant role in protecting women's rights.

Development of the world is not possible if gender discrimination is not eliminated. If women are given the opportunity, they will also play a role in the development of the country and nation by developing their talent along with men. For this, there is a need to increase women's education and bring women into the digital space.
