The Dairy Game:05/07/2021:Ghost town with family

Greetings lovely people of God, i hope we are doing just fine . Am happy being here again to share my dairy with all the amazing people i have come across here so far .
So today is the usual ghost town here in Bamenda as we all know and i must say i was quite unsure of how the atmosphere of today would look like considering how tensed last evening was with the murder of a man at below Foncha that caused several youths to protest at Foncha street, we could even hear sounds of gun shots coming from the direction where the incident had occurred. That being the case I woke up at about 6:am and said my prayers entrusting all my worries to God while hoping that the day be a calm one. I left from my bedroom after making up my bed into the bath room where i brushed and cleaned up. At about 7:30am, i went into the parlor and switched on the tv to the kids favorite channel (baby tv) and as they were watching, i went into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for them. At about 9:am, i started with the preparations for a customer’s fish pie that she had ordered, she was hosting a njangi meeting at her house at mile five and so she ordered for fish pie to entertain her guests with. The preparation took me about two hours and arround 11am, i called her to meet up and collect, we had planned to meet at mile three inorder to share the distance abit since she couldn’t come all the way to Behind PMI from mile five. When i called she told me that she was still rounding up in the kitchen and so she called back at about 1pm that she was done so i left the house and delivered the pies to her at mile 3 after taking a few pictures of it at home.

I came back home arround 2pm and prepared chin chin for the house. I always like having it at home to serve visitors with especially those who might not want to eat something heavy .

Mum had gone to the farm to harvest corn and just when i was rounding up with the chin chin, there she was, she came back with fresh corn and as excited as i was, i immediately arranged my things to begin roasting the corn, i asked my cousin to call the neighbors arround so that they could join us in eating as a family and gradually the entire kitchen became full.

Life is Good

later on we bought some drinks to push down the corn with, it was really interesting as we shared different stories while warming up ourselves as it was also very cold and raining . We discussed and ate all the fresh corn until at about 10pm when everything was exhausted, everyone went back to their respective homes to sleep.
I left and took a shower and when i was through, I discussed online with a few friends then i later on slept off . That is how my day was spent. Thanks for reading through
