#CLUB5050: ACT OF KINDNESS CONTEST @imuniru38 (23/04/2022)

Greetings to everyone in this great and fruitful community, I hope we are all doing well and reading this in good and sound mind. If not, I pray you relief of what so ever is worrying you in God’s name…. Amen. It has actually been a while since I participated in any contest of steem community. I haven’t been active consistently for like for like a month now due to some school and family businesses, nothing that serious though just a pressurizing to blend them both. I would care for some advice and planning from any of you kind hearted readers if you have any to share in the share. Someone might also benefit from it in the comment section…. Thank you.

To start with, I want to thank the Steem Cameroon community for organizing yet another wonderful contest open for all, it is really great to share our experiences on this topic and also hear what others have to offer.

My content on this topic, “Act of Kindness” is recent but sorrowful incident we encountered as a class and thought about how we could help as a class to also show our concern and love. It was disclose to us that one of our former teachers was involved in a motor bike accident and unfortunately lost his life in the event after being in the hospital for three days. The news came to us this past Wednesday, and it was really heartbreaking one. Considering the fact that we didn’t even hear of it whilst he was still in the hospital, it became really uncomfortable for us to even to even show up the Funeral which was schedule today Saturday. This really kept us thinking as to how we could also show our last respect to him, until we got an idea, an alternative way of showing our gratitude and appreciation to him.

We thought about his family, particularly wife and children. How they would be affected losing someone that important to their lives. So we decide to pay them a visit yesterday Friday to at least try to console them and let them know they are not in this alone. The mother in particular, having to raise their three little children alone was one of the major worries we thought about for her. So we offered her some cash and some provisional items to cater for the children’s school needs. Though it wasn’t much and nothing close to what would actually be needed, but it was what we could offer and it was well appreciated. We really owe our teacher unpayable debts for all what knowledge he impacted on us and all life lessons we learnt from him. And one of them I can remember, not to belittle any deed that you can perform and it might put smile one someone’s face or help someone from discomfort. For your reward if you really performed it from the heart will be tenfold as you gave it.

I would end here by saying a prayer to our teacher, may he find peace in the hereafter than he did in this world. And to his family, may the Lord comfort them than they were in our teacher’s presence and also make them strong to accept this heartbreaking incident.
