#CLUB100 : CREATIVE WRITING// THINGS STOPPING YOU FROM MAKING MONEY by @graciella

Greetings people. Here we go again with our normal routine of how are you, hope you good and so on. Oh well I do hope you're okay. Let's talk a little about some things that i think can stop YOU from making money.

I have seen people who are really Interested in making money, I mean everyone wants to have money right but they don't progress because they can't kill these five things. This may look funny now but i tell you the truth, there are absolutely part of the reasons why most people are poor and never progress in life.

1.FEAR:

Some people are not making money because they are afraid of what people will say, afraid to fail, afraid to take risk, afraid to go out of the comfort zone etc. You may be one of those saying what if I invest in this and it fails or I loose the money completely. Or that is too much work to start up a business when I can continue with maybe working for my boss. Everyone has an amount of fear in them concerning something but how you handle it determines how you approach life.

2.EGO:

Yes Ego or better still pride. Some of us just don't want to kill their ego, we don't want others to know our hustle or what we do to make ends meet or cater for ourselves or earn. But in the world, you must show up, people can't just wake up and give you money if they don't know you. Or support you when they don't know what you do or how you struggle etc.

3.SHYNESS;.

Alot of people are shy, yup that's true. They can't even talk to people who can help them progress in life or who can talk to someone who can push you forward. Untill you kill that your shy attitude, you may continue to be poor, someone who is able to help you might be very close to you but if you're not even able to talk to person, ask for help or even speak up for yourself how do you expect to get help?. There's no rich man who is shy, you must learn to kill shyness and go after what you want, we loose a lot with an attitude like that.

4.IGNORANCE;

The Bible says "my people perish because they lack knowledge". I'd say lack of knowledge is actually ignorance. The worst place to live in the world is the place of ignorance, you can suffer a lot for ignorance. You have probably seen or heard people going to jail because of ignorance, or people being punished for what they didn't do but maybe you were in the area because of ignorance. Untill you decide to learn and know some things, you can't change your condition. That's why you should continuously gain knowledge, value and learn some skills.

5.PROCRASTINATION:

Okay I tend to do this a lot and it's never ended well. Do you know that procrastination has aborted sooo many visions?? Do you know how many visions and companies have not started because of procrastination? I will start tomorrow, i will start next week, I will start next month and so on. What's stopping you from starting now? If you must succeed, you must first beat procrastination.

6.LACK OF SKILLS

Okay so we get opportunities but then loose them sometimes because we lacked the skill. Say you want to audition for a movie, what do you have that makes you standout or what do you have that will make you to be chosen for the role?? In whatever field you are into there are certain things that you should learn to add to it's so when opportunities come you have a higher chance. Take the acting for example. Being able to speak more languages, cooking, painting or side skills are all added advantages on your side.

I am sure you are now understanding why some people find it hard to achieve much in life. There are many other reasons but these are the top once I could think of. Maybe you didn't know but now that you know, what will do??

It is not knowledge that make people rich but the application and implementation of knowledge.... If you must progress always implement what you learn. Thanks for reading😊
