The Diary Game: A Reflection of How 11th of February Used To Be Celebrated. 15/02/2022.

Hello everyone in steemit. Welcome to this edition of my diary game. It's going to be a reflection of how the youths day used to be celebrated in our days.

My fellow steemians! the 11th of February 2022 brought a lot of memories of how we used to celebrate it at Santa subdivision precisely in Pinyin celemonial ground. On week to the celebration was marked by a lot of rehearsals in preparation to the D-day. A lot of inter-school competitions in food ball and hand ball both for the boys and girls categories. It used to be fun you know. We will trek for miles just to go and compete with other neighboring schools.

The two best school teams would have to compete on the 11th of February itself. On the eve of the 11th of February, the schools around the venue will have to keep the environment clean, water the dusty roads since it's usually celebrated at the heart of the dry season.

The dressing code of most schools were respected. Every pupil was oblige to put on white canvas shoes and white socks. Those who couldn't afford all this in the village just had to seat and admire their friends.
This was far back in the days of primary school. You can calculate the number of years past.

When this year's event came, I discovered that a lot of precious celebrations are missing to spice such a day. It's a day for children to celebrate themselves but it's a pity that it's the reverse. Most children don't even place this day any value or significance.
