CREATIVE WRITING:WAIT FOR RAIN TO START BEFORE YOU START PLANTING

Accept greetings from @gerakam fellow steemians! it's been a while we haven't met as far as creative writing is concerned. I am going to be writing on the topic; WAIT FOR RAIN TO START BEFORE YOU PLANT YOUR CROPS.

There has been a drastic change in climatic conditions and this has affected a lot of farmers negatively as far as crop yield is concerned. Some farmers go as far as replanting after the first failed. Some persons I planting already and I don't think it's proper. It's not certain that rain would come in mid March. It might come before or after the expected date.

Some years ago farmers were good at speculating but this time around, experience has shown that it's difficult to speculate now. A lot of human activity has affected the climate. Temperatures are becoming high during the day and some geographers will say it's soon going to be rain.

For the past years farmers who plant while waiting for rain will have to replant because some of the seeds are destroyed by heat from the sun. Or some will actually germinate and when the rains show up. But when it fails to further fall, the crops would be burnt by heat from the sun.

So we need to be extra carefull. We should allow the soil to be moist before we do our planting. But some crops like yams can withstand the heat from the sun so we can plant them.
