Hello fellow steemians hope you are doing well. Today I'll tell you a story.

DUCK OR EAGLE?

i was at the airport when a taxi driver approached me.

The 1st factor I saw within the taxi was a phrase, I quickly read:

• Duck or Eagle?
  Choose.

The second factor I detected was a shiny clean taxi, the motive force well dressed, white shirt and showing neatness ironed trousers, with a tie.

The taxi driver got out, opened the door on behalf of me and said:

"I am Jean, your driver.
whereas i'm golf stroke your bags away, i might such as you to browse on this card what my mission is."

On the cardboard was written:

John's mission

• To drive my customers to their destination quickly, safely and economically, whereas providing a friendly surroundings.

i was impressed.

the inside of the cabin was very clean.

Jean asked me:
"Would you wish some coffee?"

Kidding with him, I said:
"No, i would rather have a juice.

He immediately replied:
"I even have a thermos bottle with regular juice and additionally diet juice, and water," he equally told me:
"if you wish to browse, I even have today's newspaper and some magazines."

At the beginning of the journey, Jean told me:
"These are the radio stations I actually have and this is the repertoire they play."

As if that wasn't enough, Jean even asked ME if the temperature of the air-conditioner was right on my behalf.

Then he asked if whether or not I wished to speak to him or if I preferred not to be disturbed during the journey

I asked him:
"Do you usually serve your customers like this?"

"No," he replied.
"Not always. only within the last 2 years.
My 1st few years as a taxi driver, I spent most of my time grumbling just like the other taxi drivers.
one day I listened to a doctor who specialised in personal development.
He wrote a book called: who you're makes a difference!
He said:
If you stand up in the morning hoping to own a nasty day, you actually will.
do not be a DUCK!
Be an eagle!

Ducks noises and complain, eagles soar higher than the fray.

i used to be always making noise and grumbling.

therefore i made a decision to alter my perspective and be an eagle.

I checked out the other taxis and drivers.
The taxis were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly and also the customers were discontented .

I took a decision to form some changes.
My customers responded well, therefore I made a few additional changes.

In my 1st year as an Eagle, I doubled my turnover.
This year I even have already quadrupled it.

you're lucky that you took my taxi these days. i am not a taxi driver any longer.
My customers book via my mobile or send me a message.
If i can not pick them up, I beg a trustworthy 'Eagle' taxi driver friend to try and do the task."

Jean was totally different.
He offered a limo service in a normal taxi.
Jean, the taxi driver, decided to stop making noise and complaining like ducks do and began flying over the group like eagles do.

It does not matter whether or not you're employed in an office, are a maintenance employee, a teacher, a civil servant, an official, an executive, an employee, a freelancer or a taxi driver!
how does one behave?

Are you determined to make noise and complain? Or do you rise higher than the rest?
