Engineering and Science Output (Robotic)

Robotics is the new section in science and engineering design to build robots used in different sectors. Robots are applied across industries and some governments. In simple terms, Robotics is a combination of science, engineering, and technology to produce robots that are substitutes to human actions. Robots are gaining mechanical upgrades daily for higher functionality in the future, to say all, Robots are a product of robotics. It is the process of programming machines to be of help or taking over human actions. They are different types of robots, but this article will be highlighting the use of Robots.

Robots have a wide range of used cases under the umbrella of the "Technology For The Future" ideology. Robots are used in houses, hospitals, hotels, and even our roads.

• Manufacturing

we will find the use of robots in auto manufacturing companies, this is probably the oldest and well- know the user of robots. This company used robots to assemble parts of products, like cares. They are millions of robots used in industries, filling drinks into bottles and cooking bottles in brewery industries.

• Logistics

Here I will be talking about quality control robots which are used by retail and logistic companies. A good example is warehouses and shipping. Yeah, here you want to move goods within the shortest possible time. Logistic robots are used to transport goods(most times heavy-duty goods) across the warehouse, from high point to low-level points and Some of these robots help in packaging.

Having robots at our doorstep has got to mean it is no longer a thing to call science friction. We have robots all over our homes, which they have been helping in one well or the other. Examples: Autonomous vacuum cleaners, robotics toy cars, and other toys for kids entertaining.

• Travel

This new but gaining ground, autonomous vehicles. This is no longer fiction but a combination of data science to have self-driving cars in real life. An example is the Automakers Tesla, Ford, BMW, Volkswagen who are working on self-driving cars. Here the objective is for a human to just sit and enjoy the ride without operating anything,

• Healthcare

Robotics is a huge aspect in the healthcare domain, where robots have been of great assistance in surgical activities. An example is Toyota's healthcare assistant used to help people with walking ability. Another example bot used to speed up the COVID_19 fight. Here the robot is used to fill and seal COVID-19 testing swabs.

While looking at the use, many people are scared they might be replaced. Well, I will think of the benefits it brings to us in their different sectors. I will look into the different types of robots in the days ahead.
