Independent Day greetings to you from me @etette in Nigeria, this is a wonderful day celebration in my country to all citizens,I it all a day My Country Nigeria gain independence from British So in my location it was celebrated in another way as the community am staying used football to share with others to remember the suffering of our past heroes.

So that morning.i went to the church for prayers to start the New Month.
After that was the football game that was organized by people around the area, though

The football game was a unique one as the.both.team was on a friendly match to.remember those days of old when Nigeria gain her independence from white men (British)
I was at the Primary School Field to feed my eyes that morning, the match was brief.

In the afternoon, I was like going back to the history of my country Nigeria during the colonial masters administration.the Pre -Colonial , colonial and Post Colonial .

1st October,1960 was a remarkable day in the history of Nigeria, the CV country gain her independence in that year.
Nigeria was relieved from the hands of the colonial masters,so I took time to do a recall of those days when our forefathers were under the influence of colonial administration where government was not directly in the hands of the citizens but white men.
After the whole lot of time I used to recall the old days of my country Nigeria after colonial administration and under independence, I really set tears about how things are happening.

In the evening ,I was so dull and heartbroken due to the way things are going on, poverty have become a serious challenge, petrol is of high cost, Our currency has failed against dollar A lot of citizens are crying looking for help.

I was so heartbroken for what am seeing today as our leaders are doing things to the detriment of the citizens.
So my evening was a serious moment of reasoning, what will be the hope of a common man.
That was how the Diary activities went through.
So painful to celebrate a country that don't want to look into the situation of the citizens.
