Dear members of Steem-Cameroon Community, it's a pleasure to get up this morning strong and healthy and able to bring to you my greetings. I hope we are all doing great in the house!

You know they're many days in life, but some days are just so wonderful that the satisfaction you derived from them will not be completed until you tell someone about it. To let my joy be completed, I bring to you a post of my best day of the week.

Friday 12/11/2021

On Friday 12 th Nov., 2021, I came in contact with what Merenu said, and I quote:

According to Merenu (1988) Leadership is the most influential person in an organization who provides direction, guides, group activities and ensure that group objectives are obtained.1

More than five years ago while I was studying in seminary, I was elected as the President of all Bamenda Field Students. Back then, there was a serious challenge between the students and the Administration of Bamenda Field of the Cameroon Baptist Convention churches. Predecessor did nothing about this, but the day I was elected into office, I decided to go on an adventure. This adventure did not only work, but it equally proved a fact of leadership. Leaders hardly reap the fruit 🍓 of their labour, they simply lay the foundation for those coming after them to eat on.

Below is a narrative of what I called, "Mission Accomplish".

MORNING

My days usually starts as early as 2 am. On Friday 12, I got up, had my personal quiet time with God, prayed for my ministry and Christians. At about 4:30 am, I started writing my morning meditation for that day. By 5:30 am I published it then dive to my room, took out my tooth brush and paste, entered the bathroom and brush. Slightly above 6 am, I was in my poultry farm feeding my fowls.

At about 9:15 am, I arrived Nkwen Baptist Church, for the Bamenda Field annual Bible Conference. I was so amazed that my friend who has been escaping the drums was the one on them play solemn praised. I completely forgot that we were in the midst of worship and I was happily discussing with him before I realized myself.

As the program goes by, there comes the slot that made my day. Back as the President of all Bamenda Field Students, my prayers and desires were to see a Field working hand in Globe with students, making them to feel the warmth of their mentors and receiving guidance and financial support as they study in the seminary. This wasn't a reality in the days before, and during my tenure in office.

When I was elected president, I took upon myself to embarked on making it happened. My Exco back then backed out on me, abandoning the vision in my hands. It was challenging and intimidating, and also giving the fact that I was in my final year and knowing so well that even if I succeeded in my venture it won't benefit me in anyway, I embarked on it mission alone. I still remember exactly what happened. It was during an Annual Bible Conference that I pleaded with the then Bamenda Field Pastor and he accepted that I should come present a report about our activities in School, but promising no financial assistance, not to even talk about giving me transportation. I braved the odds and went despite the challenges, my joy was in launching my vision. And I finally did what my mission was, then retired back to school happy that I have set the ball 🏀 rolling.

After my graduation, it so happened that I am working in Bamenda Field and I have witnessed the success of this initiative but I had never seen what I saw on Friday.

On Friday, the then Field Pastor came up to the pulpit, invited all students from the seminary to the front and said, he invited all of them to come, and some could not come because of school related challenges. That was so fulfilling for me to hear that.

Then, as the President of the students was bringing report he mentioned what the Field has been doing to them, and I almost burst out in in tears of joy knowing that my vision influence and organization and many are rejoicing because of my initiative.

That caused me to remember Steemit Blockchain and how the vision of one man has resulted into many making partner earnings from blogging. Without this initiative, a writer like me may never know the joy of writing and earning from his content. And without visionary leaders in our community like @thegreens, @saxopedia and the others, we won't ever have a growing community.

EVENING

By 4 pm same day I retired home, had some fun with my Praise Team practice. Then checked my Steemit account to reply to some comments and claim some rewards.

By 7:30, I was served a yummy dish by my kid sister and that ushered me to bed.
