Hello dear steemains in Cameroon and all over the world, it's a pleasure for me to be here doing my nominations for the second edition of the Steemit Awards. In this post I am going to be talking about a Steemit icon, role model and most active person I know ok Steemit Community. I will do a detail explanation of why I think he deserves to win this awards for the Best contributor.

First, when we talk of Contributoror Contribution what do we mean exactly. Contribution means that act of giving/offering finances, services or ideas to a person, community, project etc for the realization of that communities purpose. So when we talk of Best contributor, we are therefore relating to those group of persons or person that contribute positively to the growth of a community. And that is why amongst a group of highly active Steemians that I know both in Cameroon and all round the world, I saw no other person to nominate for this category than @thegreens.

Who is @thegreens

Ask any Cameroonian steemian about @thegreens the first thing you will hear is papa cardueax(gift) or Cameroon curator. He is the most active name in Steem Cameroon community and the name every Steemian knows. So who really is this @thegreens.
I have had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times and this is what I have to say about him.

He is an entrepreneur, a CEO, an environmentalist, a philanthropist, a Country representative and more. Below are the reasons I think he deserves the Award.

Weekly Contest

@thegreens organizes Steemit contest both for Cameroonians and worldwide every week. Contest like

• Power up challenge which encourages the growth of the platform,
• Green Contest which helps promote the environment,
• Creative Writing Contest which encourages creativity amongst Cameroonians

Withdrawals.

When we talk to a new recruit about Steemit, the question the ask first is How do the get their rewards. Through The Green Steem Bank Exchange, we can assure new recruits that they will get their rewards easily.

Steem Promo.

@thegreens is like the godfather to every Cameroon steemian. He joined back in 2017 and ever since he has continuously promote the platform. If we tracing our mentor history it all goes back to @thegreens. And through his weekly Contest, he keeps promoting the platform.

This and more are reasons I think he deserves this awards.

Thanks to the Steemit team for this great initiative to reward Hardwork. It is a great promotion move.
