My special greetings to everyone here and the organizer of this Contest @steem-cameroon. Here's is my short movie script on revenge but I'll throw more light on the word REVENGE before sharing my movie script.
Revenge is when someone hurts you or does something wrong to you, and you want to get back at them by hurting them or making them suffer in some way. It's like trying to get even for what they did to you. People may seek revenge to feel better or to prove a point, but it often leads to more conflict and negativity.
Title of My Movie Script: Retribution
Retribution is a short film that explores the theme of revenge. The story revolves around a young woman who seeks to avenge her sister's death by taking matters into her own hands. The film aims to showcase the impact that revenge can have on a person's life and mental state
EMILY - A young woman who is seeking revenge for her sister's death.
RACHEL - Emily's sister who was killed in a hit and run accident.
JOHN - The man responsible for Rachel's death.
SCENE 1:
The film opens with Emily standing in front of a grave, placing flowers on it. The camera pans out to reveal that the grave belongs to her sister, Rachel. Emily looks up, and we see the determination in her eyes. She is wants to avenge the death of her sister.
SCENE 2:
Emily begins to investigate Rachel's death. She spends countless hours going through police reports and CCTV footage, trying to identify the driver responsible for the hit and run. Finally, she comes across a lead - a witness who saw the accident take place.
SCENE 3:
Emily tracks down the witness and convinces him to testify in court. The trial takes place, and the driver responsible for Rachel's death, John, is found guilty.
SCENE 4:
The film ends with Emily standing outside the courthouse, looking satisfied that justice has been served. However, as the camera zooms in on her face, we see a glimmer of something else, perhaps a hint of sadness or regret. It's clear that while Emily's revenge may have brought closure, it hasn't necessarily brought her peace.
