Pepper Farming

Amongst the numerous activities carried out during the week, i actually choose this Sunday 9th of May to be my best day of the week. Well, it was a Sunday, and i did not go to church, which i actually regret. But since i found my self in the village, i had to follow the village program. Well it was really interesting and enriching, being my second time planting pepper, though i have never been opportune to be there at the time of harvesting.

Procedure in Planting

Well, it really takes consistency to understand the complete procedures in mending especially the Seeds for later transplanting.

Procedures Include:

• Seperating the seeds from the Pepper.
• washing and silvering the seeds out.
• making of Riges and throwing the seeds on it, by sprinkling.
• constant watering if no rain, every 12 hours.
• After 5 weeks, it must be around 5 to 10cm in height.
• transplantation now to Big farm site
• Application of fertilizers after 3 weeks.
• weeding of grass, and adding of ground under the pepper.
• First bearing and ripening.
• harvesting.
