Bamenda: Three Youths Found Dead In Mankon

Shock and consternation is still the order of the day at the Mile Six neighborhood in Mankon following the discovery of three dead bodies breaking Friday August 5th,2022.

Inhabitants of that area say the boys who have not yet been identified were killed by those dressed in military uniforms.

We also gathered that the boys were picked up somewhere on town and their lives wasted at Mile Six Mankon.

An eye witness told us that: "the boys were killed where we found the bodies just around a radio station here. We have identified one as a commercial bike rider. As for the others, we can't say who they are. They were brought to the spot and gunned down. We can't really say who did but accussing fingers are pointing at gun men in military attires."

This is not the first time young boys are picked up only for their liveless bodies to be founded later on.

A stream at the Mulang neighborhood in Bamenda has been a dumping ground for corpses. Many dead bodies have been retrieved from from that stream while some stayed there and were washed away by heavy rain water after a heavy down pour.

The current Anglophone crisis has dealt a heavy blow to the population. Surviving has not been easy with many forced to embrace just anything in order to survive.

The ongoing war in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon has continued to take away lives with many believing that only a genuine dialogue will arrest the situation.
